Hi, I'm Lewie, a photographer and videographer based in South Wales and the founder of Lumatree Media.
Over the past four and a half years, I had the privilege of serving as Senior Photographer and Videographer at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, producing photography and video content that captured the achievements, ambitions, and impact of one of Wales' leading higher education institutions. While that role represented a significant chapter in my career, it also inspired the next. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience behind the camera, I established Lumatree Media to help organisations tell their stories through authentic, purposeful photography and video..
Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to create content for a wide range of audiences and platforms, from graduation ceremonies and student recruitment campaigns to corporate communications and brand storytelling. My photography and video work has appeared in prospectuses, marketing publications, digital campaigns, and large-scale out-of-home advertising, including billboards and bus-side campaigns across Wales and beyond. Working across projects of varying scale has reinforced my belief that great visual content does more than capture attention; it helps organisations build trust, inspire action, and tell meaningful stories.
Alongside my work in higher education, I've gained experience across commercial photography, live events, major sporting events and film production, including serving as Director of Photography on two feature films. These opportunities have helped shape a versatile and adaptable approach to visual content creation, combining technical expertise with a strong understanding of narrative and audience engagement.
